Jim Thome had a good day at the plate. He smacked a three-run homer (his 18th of the season) in the 2nd inning and stroked a one-base hit knocking in a run in the 9th inning. Chicago finished with 13 hits while Enterprise ended up with 4. Almanzar recorded his 5th save. The losing pitcher was Mike Hampton(7-11). The Chicago ballclub's record now stands at 72-57. Scott Leitner was unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
